Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A CDL truck
- Complete daily local and regional delivery and pickup routes
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and supplies between company locations, vendors, and customers
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of tractor and trailer
- Ensure cargo is properly secured and protected
- Follow all DOT and company safety policies
- Assist with loading or unloading when needed
- Verify shipping paperwork and delivery documents
- Confirm correct product and condition before transport
- Maintain communication with shipping/receiving and scheduling teams
- Maintain accurate driver logs and records
- Report vehicle issues, accidents, or safety concerns immediately
- Keep truck clean and presentable
- Follow all company and customer site safety requirements
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL license
- Current DOT Medical Card
- Clean driving record and ability to pass MVR check
- Minimum 2 years CDL driving experience preferred
- Experience operating a 53’ trailer
- Strong commitment to safety and reliability
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Must meet all DOT driver qualification requirements
- Ability to read, understand, and complete shipping documents, logs, and safety paperwork
Physical Requirements
- Lifting: Occasionally raises objects from a lower to a higher position or moves objects horizontally from position to position. Weight is usually less than 50 lbs.
- Push/Pull: Occasionally uses upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, haul, or tug objects in a sustained motion. Weight is usually less than 50 lbs.
- Reaching: Extends hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction. Weight is usually less than 50 lbs.
- Stooping: Bends body downward and forward at the waist. Weight is usually less than 50 lbs.
- Standing: Standing for moderate levels of time. Infrequently more than 30 minutes at a time.
- Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks. Infrequently more than 30 minutes at a time.
- Manual dexterity as needed to operate a variety of machinery and/or equipment
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with temperature variations
Supervision
Works with minimal supervision. Issues and concerns need to be communicated to the supervisor.
