CDL Driver

NAC is a national distributor of premium raw materials, specialty chemicals, and composite products, known for technical expertise, service excellence, and a dependable logistics network supporting marine, transportation, construction, and industrial markets across North America.
About the role
As a CDL Driver, you will play a critical role in delivering products safely, efficiently, and professionally to our customers. You will represent NAC on the road while ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining safety standards, and providing excellent customer service at every stop. This role is ideal for a safety-focused, reliable driver who takes pride in representing a respected company and building strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle (CDL Class A or B, depending on location)
- Deliver composite materials, resins, and specialty products to customers on assigned routes
- Load and unload materials in compliance with safety regulations and company procedures
- Ensure proper handling of hazardous materials (HAZMAT endorsement preferred in some locations)
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required documentation
- Maintain accurate delivery records and shipping paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse, and customer service teams
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Maintain compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed when not on route
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A or B license (based on location requirements)
- Clean driving record and strong safety history
- 2+ years of commercial driving experience preferred
- HAZMAT endorsement or willingness to obtain (preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and safely move materials
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and electronic logging systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently while representing NAC professionally
