CDL Driver

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
• Transport tools, equipment, materials, parts, and supplies to designated locations
• Load, unload, and secure materials for transport
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance or repair needs
• Maintain delivery documentation and vehicle records as required
• Auxiliary with material organization, inventory control, and other operational support activities
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, OSHA regulations, and established safety programs

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• A high school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-3 years of commercial driving, delivery, construction, or related experience preferred
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required
• CDL preferred for operation of CDL-regulated vehicles
• Experience pulling trailers and operating lift-gate trucks preferred

• Employees must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and travel to field locations as needed.
• Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Work is performed in a variety of settings, including company facilities, construction jobsites, and public roadways.
• The employee will be regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions and may encounter dust, noise, traffic, uneven terrain, and other construction-related hazards.
• The position requires frequent travel between locations and adherence to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Noise levels may range from moderate to loud depending on the work environment.
