CDL Driver - 3rd Shift

About the role

In this role you’ll play a crucial part in ensuring materials and products are received and documented to standards. This is a third‑shift position, operating during the hours of 10:30 pm – 6:30 am. You will be a key contributor to the success of the plant, bringing expertise and tools to a dynamic environment that values efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate the needs of the production line and service them via trailer movements to the required dock door.
• Manage trailer movement within the KIK facility using a Yard Mule (tractor).
• Perform tractor inspections and preventative maintenance before, during, and after trips.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Work around unpleasant odors, high temperatures, humidity, and high noise levels as required.
• Interact constantly with a variety of chemicals and chemical products.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license (clean MVR) and medical card required.
• Minimum of 5 years commercial driving experience with a current Class A CDL qualification (Hazmat and Tanker or X endorsement a plus).
• Lift certification required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to concentrate, remain alert, and listen intensely for extended periods.
• Physical ability to stand, sit, lift, bend, crouch, reach, and climb consistently for twelve hours; lift 45 lb from floor to shoulder level.
• Ability to grasp and manipulate various packaging components (e.g., sprayers, bottles, caps).
• Must read, write, and speak English.
• Must work in accordance with Health and Safety and GMP regulations.
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary.

Pay

Hourly rate of $26.78 per hour (actual rate may vary based on skills and experience).

Schedule

Third shift: 10:30 pm – 6:30 am.
