Responsibilities

• Plan your daily delivery route.
• Review customer orders, pick stock in the warehouse, and load it onto the truck to match your delivery route.
• Visit customer locations, unload stock, and place it in the appropriate location.
• Assist customers with changes in order size, product back orders, and new products by informing sales representatives.
• Follow proper safety procedures.
• Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
• Assist the warehouse team in other areas like receiving when possible.
• Operate forklift, cherry picker, and electric pallet jacks.

Requirements

• CDL Class A required.
• 21 years or older with DOT Clearinghouse qualifications.
• Clean driving record and valid medical card.
• Experience driving a truck or tractor-trailer.

Skills

• Adaptability to changes in routes or schedules.
• Customer service orientation and good public relations skills.
• Ability to read and follow GPS or road maps.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.
• Warehouse knowledge preferred.
• Meet company and regulatory driving record requirements.
• Ability to move stock using a hand truck or electric pallet jack.

Working Conditions

• Warehouse, customer locations, and truck cab environments.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds waist-high frequently and up to 100 pounds with team lift occasionally.
• Subject to seasonal weather and local traffic conditions.
• Overtime may be required.
