CDL Delivery Driver

About the role

This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic environment, operating heavy equipment, and providing exceptional service to our customers. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for operating forklifts, managing loading and unloading tasks, and ensuring timely delivery of materials using Class B trucks.

Responsibilities

- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to efficiently organize, load, and unload yard supplies and building materials, maintaining safety standards at all times - Perform customer deliveries across various locations, ensuring products arrive on time and in excellent condition while delivering outstanding customer service - Handle physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting, to support the movement of goods and supplies within the yard and during deliveries - Assist with inventory management and yard organization as needed to optimize workflow and safety

Requirements

Preferred candidates will have previous experience with forklift operation, handling building materials, or operating spider/boom trucks; hold a valid Class A or B driver’s license; and demonstrate compliance with USDOT testing and safety regulations

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent - Valid Class B driver’s license - Forklift certification (preferred but not required) - Strong physical fitness and manual dexterity

Skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Proficiency with basic computer software

Pay

Salary range: $25,000 - $35,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
