CDL Delivery Driver

About the role

Description Tague Lumber is hiring a CDL Delivery Driver in our Philadelphia, PA location to operate our well-maintained vehicles and deliver building materials to local job sites.

Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment safely and comply with all applicable highway rules and regulations
• Previous driving experience, preferably in building materials
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Ensure all materials are properly secured for transport
• Inspect and process customer returns according to company procedures
• Operate a forklift (maintain certification) and/or pallet jack as needed
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Able to obtain and maintain a Medical Examiner’s Certificate (Med Card)
• Maintain compliance with all safety policies and DOT regulations

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Acceptable driving record
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
