CDL Delivery Driver
About the role
Nutrien Ag Solutions is the retail division of Nutrien, providing full-acre solutions through a network of crop consultants at over 2,000 locations in North America, South America, and Australia. The role involves transporting materials and performing various service duties to support the company's operations.
Responsibilities
- Load or assist in loading trailer with materials
- Unload or assist in unloading trailer by using forklift or hand truck
- Operate semi-truck with one or two trailers, according to state laws
- Transport loads over required route to proper destinations, observing all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct standard DOT truck inspection
- Complete all company and DOT required paperwork
- Complete shipping bills of lading, receive necessary signatures, and return completed paperwork to shipping office
- Maintain any related records required
- Perform miscellaneous service duties such as checking, on a daily basis, oil, water, gasoline, and air in tires
- Report any maintenance malfunctions to maintenance dept
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- A CDL required; hazmat endorsement preferred
- Must have a driving record that meets company standards
- Must meet Department of Transportation physical and medical requirements and pass substance abuse screening
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
