CDL Class B Tri-Axle Driver - Home Every Day!!

Must have CDL Class B and a clean MVR. Drives and operates a truck equipped with a dump body to transport and dump loose materials such as sand, gravel, crushed rock, or asphalt. Ability to maneuver the truck and properly back into position.

Responsibilities

  • Record operating data such as products and quantities, gauge readings, and operating times, manually or using computers.
  • Maintain proper maintenance of truck and equipment, including tire pressure and fluid levels.
  • Communicate using 2-way radios and verbal communication.
  • Must be able to work nights, overtime, and weekends.
  • Ability to drive a manual transmission.
  • Perform any and all other duties as necessary.
  • Read maps and navigate around central Alabama.

  • Static Strength: Ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects.

  • Perceptual Speed: Ability to quickly and accurately compare similarities and differences among objects or patterns.

Physical Demands

  • Sit: 10+ hours per shift
  • Bend or Stoop: 30 minutes per shift
  • Crouch: Rarely
  • Carry: 1 hour per shift
  • Walk or Stand: 4 hours per shift
  • Climb in & out of truck: Multiple times per shift
  • Frequently lift the following:
    • 5-10 lbs.: 15 minutes per shift
    • 10-20 lbs.: 15 minutes per shift
    • 20-50 lbs.: 15 minutes per shift
    • Over 50 lbs.: Rarely

Requirements

  • Over 1 year of verifiable DOT experience preferred.
