About the role

As part of the Contract Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in designing, managing, and optimizing solutions that keep goods moving efficiently. Whether you’re leading a team, engineering processes, or driving projects, your work ensures that our customers’ products are stored, handled, and delivered with precision.

Responsibilities

  • Transport, load, and unload parts and materials—including hazardous items—to and from customer sites and warehouses
  • Make sure each load matches the order in the yard management system and is safely secured in the truck
  • Check vehicles before use and report any mechanical problems right away
  • Keep records like delivery logs and shipping documents up to date
  • Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and transportation policies set by our company and customer sites
  • Work in all kinds of weather and non-climate-controlled areas; be available for overtime and weekends
  • Read and understand work instructions, job aids, and delivery paperwork with attention to detail
  • Lift up to 50 pounds and follow safety steps when handling materials
  • Pick up and deliver trailers between our company and customer warehouse locations, meeting tight delivery deadlines
  • Help with other warehouse tasks when needed, and take part in random drug and alcohol screenings

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Class A CDL license with 1+ years of recent, continuous CDL Class A driving experience
  • Hazmat and Tanker endorsement
  • Excellent driving record
  • Proven experience handling tandem axle tractors and transporting goods using dry van and refrigerated trailers

Pay

The base hourly rate for this position is $33.12, with additional shift differentials applied depending on the schedule.
