About Us Pavement Preservation Group (PPG) specializes in pavement preservation and roadway maintenance, helping keep roads safe and extending the life of existing pavement. Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Class B Driver with a valid air brake endorsement to support our pavement preservation and roadway maintenance operations. This position involves operating commercial vehicles, transporting equipment and materials to job sites, and assisting field crews as needed. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, comfortable working outdoors, and willing to be hands-on when needed to help the crew get the job done. Responsibilities Safely operate Class B commercial vehicles to transport equipment, materials, and supplies to and from job sitesPerform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concernsFollow all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and applicable traffic lawsAssist with loading, unloading, and securing equipment and materialsSupport field crews with pavement preservation and roadway maintenance activities as neededMaintain a clean, organized vehicle and ensure equipment is handled properlyCommunicate effectively with supervisors, crew members, and other team membersWork outdoors in varying weather conditions and around active roadway construction zonesPerform other duties as assigned Requirements Qualifications Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) requiredValid air brake endorsement requiredClean driving record and ability to meet applicable DOT requirementsPrevious commercial driving experience preferredAbility to safely operate and inspect commercial vehicles and equipmentAbility to lift, carry, and move materials as neededAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsStrong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safetyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to assist with general labor duties when needed What We're Looking For We want team members who take pride in their work, show up ready to contribute, and understand the importance of safety and teamwork.
