CDL Class B - Feed Delivery Truck Driver

Class B Driver

• Organize, perform and complete the delivery of commercial bulk and bagged feeds.
• Operate truck in a safe and courteous manner.
• Maintain truck by conducting pre-trip checks and adhering to DOT and other regulatory agency requirements.
• Ensure cleanliness of the truck, including regular washing and cleaning of both the exterior and interior.
• Load, reload, and assist others in loading as necessary.
• Inspect hatches, augers, and blowers to ensure they are operational and serviceable.
• Ensure feed is unloaded to the correct location or bin.
• Absorb and accurately complete all scale tickets, delivery papers, driver logs, and related documentation.

Requirements

• Licenses: Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License with appropriate endorsements. Current DMV printout required as part of the application process.
• Experience: 2+ years of CDL-B driving experience is required.
• Driving Record: Must meet minimum risk management requirements.
• Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend English, write simple correspondence, and communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Reasoning: Ability to apply understanding to carry out instructions and solve problems in standardized situations.
• Customer Service: Demonstrates excellent customer service skills, including being courteous and safe on the customer's property, public roads, and company property.
