About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a CDL Class A truck to transport goods within Michigan.
Responsibilities
- Drive company vehicles safely and efficiently
- Load and unload cargo according to safety guidelines
- Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately
- Maintain regular communication with dispatch regarding availability and status updates
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A license
- At least 2 years of driving experience
- Passing score on a commercial driver’s road test
- Excellent physical condition
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of basic computer operations
Skills
- Proficient in using a GPS system
- Familiarity with local traffic laws and regulations
