Responsibilities

• Safely deliver products to customers, representing trusted brands and keeping businesses stocked and running
• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures, and exceptions
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely, including work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role
