CDL Class A Transport Truck Driver - Morgantown, WV

About the role

Woodford Transport, LLC is seeking a full-time Class A transport truck driver to deliver a full line of petroleum products and motor fuels to retail service stations and convenience stores in West Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio, Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Proper pre and post trip truck and trailer inspections.
• Safely drive loaded and empty tanker trucks of various makes/models.
• Properly load, handle, hook hoses, operate pumps and valves for loading and unloading.
• Safely fill tanks of all types and sizes using various size hoses, nozzles and fittings.
• Safely use pipe wrenches, crescent wrenches, hammers and other hand tools.
• Accurately complete driver logs, pre and post trip forms and other paperwork as required.
• Courteously work with bosses, dispatchers, fellow employees and customers.

Requirements

• Class A with Hazmat and tanker endorsement license.
• Must be 23 years old and have a clean driving record.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Minimum of 1 full year of verifiable driving experience.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.

Skills

• Proficient in proper truck and trailer maintenance.
• Experience with tanker truck operations.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
• Strong communication skills.
