CDL Class A Tour Manager - Arkansas

About the role

SPEVCO is seeking a full-time, program-specific Class A CDL Tour Manager to travel with the "Be Pro Be Proud" program in the state of Arkansas. The program engages high school students in various skilled trades through interactive events.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate custom, double-expandable trailer with various interactive stations and simulators
• Drive the event Tractor/Trailer to each event site and pack up for the next day's event
• Ensure the event trailer and all interactive exhibits and simulators are clean, operational, and safe
• Aid students with the interactive components of the trailer
• Tear down the trailer and pack exhibits each day after the event
• Work with point of contact at each school/event site to ensure proper planning for the day's events
• Train on safe operation of the event trailer, operation of all simulators and technology aboard the trailer, talking points, ELDs, and more

Requirements

• Resident of Arkansas with an Arkansas Class A driver's license
• Valid Class A driver's license with a clean driving record and DOT Medical Certificate
• Two years of Class A driving experience with 53ft trailers
• Experience with moving and setting up custom expandable event trailers
• Comfortable with public speaking and working with individuals
• Strong safety mindset and desire to promote the company's safety culture
• Physical and mental strength to perform duties in extreme environments

• Willingness to maintain a "show-ready" clean vehicle and exhibit
