About the role
Responsible for operating heavy trucks to transport goods across various routes. Must hold a valid CDL with appropriate endorsements.
Responsibilities
- Drive company vehicles safely and efficiently
- Load and unload cargo according to safety guidelines
- Communicate with dispatchers to plan routes and schedules
- Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations
Requirements
- Valid CDL with appropriate endorsements
- At least 2 years of driving experience
- Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passing drug and alcohol testing
Skills
- Knowledge of commercial vehicle operation
- Proficiency in GPS navigation systems
- Experience with load securing techniques
