CDL Class A & Non-CDL Local Beer Delivery Driver- Paris

Responsibilities

• Deliver product to retail accounts on a predetermined route for advance sales.
• Comply with quality assurance policies and procedures.
• Operate and care for assigned company equipment safely in compliance with all vehicle codes and company policies.
• Maintain strong customer rapport, quality service, and effective merchandising of all products.
• Safeguard quality standards by rotating products according to supplier requirements.
• Ensure all products are delivered in good condition and within scheduled delivery time.
• Rotate products in back rooms following supplier requirements to prevent the sale of past-dated items.
• Absorb and properly account for all cash/credit proceeds and products removed from inventories.
• Accurately compute and record all transactions and submit related cash, checks, and documents to Route Audit at the end of each work shift.
• Provide shelf merchandising to stores upon request by managers or customers.
• Maintain a safe and compliant driving record by completing daily vehicle safety checks and addressing issues promptly.
• Keep the cab and bays of the truck clean and organized at all times.
• Provide quality service and positive exposure of product to increase sales and market share.
• Perform other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 21 years of age
• Commercial Class A driver license preferred and must maintain an acceptable driver record in compliance with DOT requirements
• One year of commercial driving experience preferred
• Experience in beverage delivery preferred
• Able to lift products weighing up to 170 lbs. on occasion
