CDL Class A Fuel Tanker Driver

About the role

We are seeking qualified CDL Class A Fuel Tanker Drivers to operate a fuel tanker truck in support of ground operations and camp support activities near Barstow, CA.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and dispense fuel to vehicles, generators, and equipment at the National Training Center near Barstow, CA in support of Terrestris LLC operations.
• Operate a fuel tanker truck, conduct vehicle inspections, maintain fuel delivery logs, and ensure all fuel handling procedures comply with DOT and HAZMAT safety regulations.
• Drive to the refueling location to ensure the fuel stockpile is maintained.
• Maintain communication with site supervisors to ensure timely and safe fuel support operations.
• Immediately report any safety hazards, equipment issues, or fuel spills according to established procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of assigned vehicles and equipment.

Qualifications

• The ability to work in the United States permanently, without sponsorship.
• Valid CDL Class A driver’s license.
• X-Endorsement.
• HAZMAT endorsement (required).
• Tanker endorsement (required).
• Demonstrated experience operating fuel tanker trucks or transporting hazardous materials.
• Knowledge of DOT and HAZMAT transportation regulations.
• Ability to safely perform fueling operations in field or training environments.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain access to the National Training Center.
