Responsibilities

  • Operate company-assigned Class A truck safely and responsibly
  • Live and drop loads
  • Adjust to local travel conditions (traffic, road closures, etc.)
  • Answer customer questions with professionalism and courtesy
  • Communicate any customer concerns or delivery issues to management
  • Collaborate with dispatch to plan routes and track deliveries
  • Maintain your assigned truck in clean and working condition

Requirements

  • A Valid Class A CDL Drivers License Required
  • A Minimum of 24 months of experience working in a full-time Class A Tractor/Trailer driving position in the previous 3 years
  • No more than two (2) moving violations while operating a personal or commercial motor vehicle in the last three years (3) years
  • No serious traffic violations or convictions while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years
  • No clearinghouse violations in the last 5 years
  • Knowledge of all applicable DOT regulations and Motor Carrier Safety regulations
  • Ability to satisfy FMCSA/DOT requirements including a clean drug and alcohol screen and a passing DOT physical
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to navigate interactions professionally
  • Must be able to read and speak the English Language sufficiently to converse with the general public and respond to official inquiries to drivers
  • Must meet minimum age and insurability requirements (21 years of age or older) in accordance with company insurance policies and/or federal regulations governing commercial vehicle operation

Pay

$0.68/ cents per mile + $25/stop pay
