CDL- CLASS A DRIVER

About the Role

We are hiring a CDL Driver to deliver and unload finished products, parts, and materials to our customer locations. This is a safety-sensitive position that requires operating a tractor-trailer combination locally, with a focus on safety, customer service, and physical labor.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination for local deliveries.
• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. during loading/unloading of trucks.
• Provide excellent customer service as a key ambassador of our company, building relationships with customers.
• Assist in the warehouse as needed.
• Read, write, and understand English, and use navigation software.
• Perform any other assigned duties, tasks, or responsibilities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license (required for operating company vehicles).
• Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
• Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) record.
• Ability to meet state and federal transportation and medical requirements to operate a three-axle vehicle.

Travel Requirements

Seventy-five percent of work activities are performed inside the cab of the commercial vehicle. The remainder is performed outdoors and in a warehouse setting. May require overnight travel.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
• Good hand-eye coordination and hand dexterity.
• Physical strength to lift up to 50 pounds, depending on job duties.

Pay

Compensation range: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour. Actual offers depend on factors such as location, experience, skills, and market data. This position may also include variable compensation.
