CDL-Chick Delivery Driver

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Supports Allen Harim’s vision, mission and values
• Delivers chicks from the hatcheries to designated farm facilities
• Responsible for inspection of equipment before loading
• Completes required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
• Fulfills biosecurity and BSE rules
• Reports truck and equipment maintenance issues to the supervisor
• Performs written delivery reports
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Possess superior interpersonal and communication skills
• High school degree or equivalent
• A valid medical card
• Minimum of two (2) years driving experience required
• Maintains all DOT requirements and complies with DOT rules and regulations
• CDL Class A license

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift 60 pounds without assistance
• Climb ladders
• Operate a pallet jack with 2000 pounds of material

Work Environment

• Works in cold and hot environments
