CDL Bus Driver – Multiple Locations in the Greater Richmond Area (Part-Time)

About the role

The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking part‑time CDL bus drivers to safely transport children to and from school programs within the Greater Richmond Area. This position offers limited hours. Responsibilities

• Safely transport children to and from YMCA school programs.
• Drive assigned routes for all YMCA branches in the Richmond area.
• Maintain vehicle safety and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Ensure the safety and well‑being of passengers at all times.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) issued by the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Good driving record.
• Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.
• Airbrake endorsement.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• High school diploma or GED.

Skills

Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.

Pay

Salary range: $23‑$25 per hour.
