Bus Driver (CDL Not Required) - Part Time

Responsibilities

• Operate small buses (less than 16 passengers) while maintaining high safety standards and passenger confidence.
• Follow established routes and schedules in a timely manner.
• Communicate accurately regarding changes in passenger itinerary.
• Record and report transportation data as required.
• Maintain proper vehicle appearance and cleanliness, inside and out, including monitoring vehicle performance and limitations.
• Follow established policies and procedures and comply with all safety requirements.
• Assist passengers with disabilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency credential.
• At least 1 year of bus driving experience, including transporting passengers.
• Complete driver training courses within required timeframe and obtain a Certificate of Completion (Defensive Driving, Passenger Assistance, and Emergency Evacuation).
• Valid driver’s license and NHDOT medical card required.
• Pass Agency Drug & Alcohol pre-employment testing and participate in random drug and alcohol testing as established by Agency policies for safety-sensitive employees.
• Successfully complete criminal record and driver record checks.
• Access to reliable transportation is required, as some travel within the community will be necessary.

Ability to be polite and courteous at all times in dealing with passengers and negotiating traffic.

Pay

$19.29 - $21.08 per hour

Schedule

Part-time, Monday-Friday, 5.5 hours per day
