Duties And Responsibilities

• Exceptional attendance and punctuality.
• Accurately complete vehicle safety checks and escalate any issues.
• Compliance with all traffic laws, and federal and state transit regulations.
• Interact with customers and our central dispatch team and managers in a professional manner.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to all riders, i.e., answer questions about schedules, routes, transfer points, and delays.
• Promptly report vehicle maintenance, road and route concerns, accidents, and other traffic disruptions using two-way radios or hands-free devices.

Skills Required

• Use route navigation apps, and other technology, including knowledge of area to pick up and drop off our customers.
• Maintain electronic logs to track routes and incidents.
• Safety and operational knowledge: ability to safely operate and drive without a break for a minimum period of one hour and forty-five minutes, ability to drive in fluctuating weather and terrain.
• Flexible scheduled to work outside of regular days and shifts.
• Comfortable working a split shift schedule.
• Ability to lift 45 pounds or more to assist with loading and unloading ADA passengers.

Qualifications

• Hard Requirements: Clean driving record. Commercial driver’s license (A or B Required) Passenger endorsement. Air brakes (Required) Medical Certificate required.
• Preferred Requirements: High School Diploma/GED At least 1 year of driving experience.
