CDL B Readymix Driver $28 - $34/hr DOE

About the Role

We're helping our client, a readymix concrete operation in Central Square, NY, find experienced CDL B drivers for direct hire. This is a home daily position paying $28-$34/hr depending on experience, with routes staying within 1 hour of the plant in the Syracuse area.

Responsibilities

• Hauling readymix concrete within 1 hour of the base plant in the Syracuse, NY area
• Occasionally working from other plants within the Syracuse network
• Verifying material is properly mixed with correct slump before leaving the plant
• Operating front discharge and rear discharge readymix concrete trucks

Requirements

• Valid CDL B
• Readymix concrete experience preferred — other experienced truck drivers will be considered and trained
• Manual transmission experience preferred
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old

Pay & Schedule

• $28.00 - $34.00/hr depending on experience
• Weekly pay
• Monday through Friday, occasional Saturday (once or twice a year)
• Typical start time 6:00 AM - 7:00 AM, may vary based on business demand
• 8-10 hours per day
• Home daily
