CDL B Local Route Driver

About the role

Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced CDL B Local Route Driver to join our Operations team. In this role, you will safely operate a commercial vehicle to provide secure, on-time delivery and pick-up of confidential business files, and ensure all physical handling requirements are met.

Responsibilities

• Execute Daily Routes – Drive an automatic 20ft - 26ft Box Truck and complete an average of 15+ stops per day to deliver and pick up confidential documents from various businesses, ensuring timely and accurate service.
• Collaborate with Operations – Work closely with dispatchers and operations teams to effectively manage your route, resolve unforeseen issues, and maintain high standards of customer service.
• Ensure Compliance and Safety – Maintain a good driving record, complete pre- and post-trip inspections, and follow all local labor laws and Iron Mountain's safety and regulatory standards, especially when handling confidential materials.

Requirements

• 1+ years of professional route driving experience utilizing a CDL B license.
• Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle operation, DOT regulations, and local area routes.
• Proven ability in safe driving practices, physically lifting, pulling, and pushing items weighing 50 lbs - 70 lbs, and providing excellent customer service.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid CDL B driver’s license and a good driving record.

Pay

$23.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 7:00am - until route completion.
