CDL B Flatbed Driver - $24/hr + Benefits ($950 - $1050/Week)

About the Position

We are seeking a CDL B Flatbed Driver for a small family-owned lumber company that has been in business for over 100 years. This position offers a competitive pay rate of $24 per hour plus overtime after 40 hours. The role is local, with drivers typically staying within a one-hour radius and returning home daily.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $24 per hour + OT after 40 hrs
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 1st shift (typically 7 AM to 3:30 PM)

Job Details

• Route Type: Local Delivery
• Freight: Lumber, pallets, and crates
• Equipment: Flatbed straight trucks (automatics)
• Handling: Strapping and occasional tarping (rare)
• No touch freight

Key Responsibilities

• Transport lumber and related materials to designated locations
• Ensure safe and timely delivery
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing the company
• Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL B
• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
• 6 months flatbed experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
