TransForce is seeking a CDL A Flatbed Driver to support Local operations based in Lafayette, IN. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment on local routes
• Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
• Perform required handling tasks, including chaining, strapping, and tarping as needed
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
• Meet the physical demands of the role

Requirements

• License: CDL A
• Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Equipment Experience: Flatbed experience required
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

Skills

• Chaining, strapping, and tarping experience required (tarping only required in inclement weather)
• Manual transmission operation

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $29/hr ($1,600/weekly)
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6 am - 5 pm, home daily, occasional Saturday if needed
• Route Type: Local, shipping loads daily from Lafayette, IN to Millersburg, IN; occasional overnight trip for an Illinois route
• Equipment: Flatbed
• Handling: No-touch freight
