CDL B Driver (Local)

About the role

We are hiring a CDL B Driver in Waycross, GA. This position involves delivering compressed gas cylinders and Dewars to local and regional business customers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Load and unload the truck daily with gas cylinders, Dewars & supplies
• Nurture courteous & professional relationships with customers
• Safely secure and unsecure cylinders
• Complete deliveries on customer property sites using a hand cart

Requirements

• Valid Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT (or able to obtain it within 60 days from hire date) & Airbrake endorsements
• Maintain appropriate driver’s license, medical card & endorsements
• No more than two (2) traffic convictions: OR two (2) at-fault accident in the last 3 years; or no more than a combination of one (1) traffic conviction and one (1) at-fault accident in the last 3 years
• No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven (7) years
• Able to work in a drug-free environment
• Able to regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with the aid of material handling equipment
• One (1) year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or be able to provide proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 12 months

Pay

Pay range is general and may vary based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

A consistent routine of Monday-Friday 6:00-7:30am start time with an average of 40 hours per week.
