What You'll Do
- Build Relationships: You'll be the first point of contact for our customers, whether they walk through the door or call on the phone. You'll use your expert knowledge to understand their unique needs and guide them to the right products.
- Drive Growth: This isn't just about taking orders. You'll actively engage in inside sales, helping customers assess their needs, providing quotes, and using your problem-solving skills to find the perfect solution.
- Ensure a Smooth Operation: You'll be the one who keeps the store running smoothly. From organizing merchandise on the shelves to processing sales in our system, your attention to detail will ensure every customer experience is efficient and positive.
- Be a Reliable Backup: Your Class B CDL is key to this role. When a regular driver is out, you'll step in to safely and reliably deliver essential gases and welding products to our clients. You'll be a critical part of our delivery network.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: At least one full year of Class A or B CDL driving experience that is verifiable under DOT requirements in the past 5 years. Or a recent graduate from an accredited driving school.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a proactive attitude, is a plus.
- Endorsements: Class A or B CDL with a Hazmat endorsement or the ability to obtain your Hazmat upon contingency of offer.
- Clean Record: A clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is essential and at least 21 years of age.
- Physical Capability: High degree of physical capability and stamina to safely handle and deliver our products with routinely lifting 25-75 lbs and up to 125+ lbs with the aid of material handling equipment. Frequent bending, walking, standing, and driving for up to 8 hours a day of hazardous cargo.
- Familiarity with Sales Platforms: A preference for familiarity with sales platforms or the ability to quickly learn new systems like SAP or any other CRM experience.
