CDL-B Driver

About the role

As a CDL Class B Truck Driver, you operate a waste hauling truck to provide residential trash and recycling pick-up. You lift and carry residential waste and deposit it into a compactor, covering approximately 150 miles around your home each day. You inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues, report maintenance needs, and ensure compliance with all driving regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a waste hauling truck for approximately 150 miles daily.
• Complete daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods) and company policies.
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
• Report defects, accidents, violations, or other mechanical/safety issues.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Schedule

• Home daily, Monday–Friday.
• Shift duration: 10–12 hours.
• Additional hours may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class B driving experience.
• No more than one moving violation on your MVR within the last 3 years.
• Valid CDL Class A or B license.
