About the Role
We are hiring CDL A Yard Jockeys in Amsterdam, NY. This position offers local work with no-touch freight and an average of 60 moves per shift. You will be supported by TransForce, ensuring you have the resources and assistance you need to succeed.
Pay
Pay Rate: $27 per hour (Days), $28 per hour (Nights). Overtime after 40 hours.
- $27/hr - Saturday – Monday: 6 AM – 6 PM
- $28/hr - Tuesday – Friday: 4 PM – 2 AM
Schedule
- Saturday – Monday: 6 AM – 6 PM (Days)
- Tuesday – Friday: 4 PM – 2 AM (Nights)
Responsibilities
- Performing yard horse moves without leaving the yard
- Completing approximately 60 moves per shift
Requirements
- Valid CDL A
- 3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
