About the role
TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in San Antonio, TX. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes
- Transport refrigerated goods in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks, including loading and unloading using an electric pallet jack, and the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
Requirements
- License: CDL A
- Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Endorsements: None
- Equipment Experience: Must have yard hostler experience and experience using an electric pallet jack
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
