CDL-A Warehouse Yard Jockey

About the role

A Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, full-time CDL-A Yard Jockey in Fairless Hills, PA. As a Jockey you will be moving trucks from the Yard to the building and back; maneuvering trucks into loading or unloading positions as needed. May also need to run a local delivery as needed.

Pay

• $32.70 per hour
• Overtime after 45 hours
• Weekly pay every Friday via direct deposit

Schedule

• Start between 5–7 PM
• Sunday through Thursday

Responsibilities

• Moving trailers around the terminal to various locations
• Maneuvering the truck into loading and/or unloading positions
• Visually inspecting trailers and/or trucks before and after moving each
• Connecting tractors to trailers
• Assisting with the unloading and loading of freight as needed
• Maintaining documentation of each trailer moved throughout the assigned shift

Requirements

• Class A CDL
• Minimum 1 year of recent CDL-A experience (van type trailer preferred)
• Previous Jockey or Switcher experience (preferred)
• Currently hold, or obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older
• No more than three moving violations and/or accidents within the last three years, subject to review
• Ability to communicate effectively; must be able to read, write and speak English
• Must be able to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance
