CDL-A Dedicated Yard Jockey

Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, motivated full‑time Dedicated CDL‑A Qualified Yard Jockey in Easton, PA. The role involves moving trucks from the yard to the building and back, and maneuvering trucks into loading or unloading positions as needed.

Pay

$28.28 per hour. Weekly pay every Friday via direct deposit. Overtime after 45 hours.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 4 PM start.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• Minimum 1 year of recent CDL‑A experience; van‑type trailer preferred
• Previous jockey or switcher experience preferred
• Current or obtainable non‑excepted interstate DOT medical card
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• No more than three moving violations or accidents within the last three years (subject to review)
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Ability to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance

Responsibilities

• Moving trailers around the terminal to various locations
• Maneuvering the truck into loading and/or unloading positions
• Visually inspecting trailers and/or trucks before and after moving each
• Connecting tractors to trailers
• Assisting with the unloading and loading of freight as needed
• Maintaining documentation of each trailer moved throughout the assigned shift
