CDL-A Truck Driver | Western Region | Fontana, CA

About the role

Knight Transportation is seeking experienced truck drivers for various dry van CDL A routes across the western United States. Routes range from 7 to 14 days out, with 2 days home. Average weekly miles vary between 2,400 and 2,700.

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks on various western regional routes
• Operate under 49 CFR Part 391 regulations
• Pass background checks and drug tests
• Work shifts that may require overnight stays
• Receive monthly safety and production bonuses
• Participate in an employee assistance program

Requirements

• Minimum age of 21 years old
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL)
• At least 6 months of Class A experience within the last year or 1 year of Class A experience within the last 5 years
• No more than 1 preventable accident in the past 2 years, no major accident within 5 years
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years
• Pass a DOT physical and drug tests

• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug tests
• Background check required under 49 CFR Part 391
