CDL A Truck Driver – Part-Time OTR Slip Seat | Tulare, CA

About the role

Knight Transportation is seeking experienced Class A CDL Truck Drivers in Tulare, CA and the surrounding areas to operate part-time. This is a slip seating position, where the tractor is shared with another slip seating driver when you are off-duty.

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks at least 3 days per week
• Operate under flexible schedules based on personal needs

Requirements

• At least 21 years old
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• 6 months of Class A experience within the last year or 1 year of Class A experience within the last 5 years
• No more than 1 preventable accident in the past 2 years, no major accident within 5 years
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years
• Pass a DOT physical and drug test

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check under 49 CFR Part 391
• Background checks may consider qualified applications with arrest or conviction records in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act
