CDL A Truck Driver - Now Hiring

About the role

This position involves safely and efficiently operating a tractor-trailer to transport products from the warehouse to various customers, ensuring proper delivery and unloading according to company standards and customer invoices.

Responsibilities

• Unload products manually or with equipment in all weather conditions, placing them in designated storage areas.
• Complete all paperwork accurately, including logs, inspections, maintenance reports, and invoices.
• Maintain food safety protocols, inspect products for damages, and ensure sanitary conditions in the vehicle and warehouse.
• Build positive customer relationships through courteous communication and service.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing in/out of trucks, and handling products in diverse weather conditions.
• The environment may include exposure to cold, heat, humidity, mechanical parts, and noise.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, weekends, and holidays is necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; tractor trailer driving experience preferred or completion of a driving school.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and insurability.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, and safe lifting/delivery practices.

Skills

• Skills in long-distance driving, problem-solving, customer communication, and safe product handling.
• Ability to operate various vehicles and equipment, read/write English, perform basic math, and work independently.
