CDL-A Truck Driver | I-5 Corridor | Portland, OR

About the role

Knight Transportation seeks experienced CDL A truck drivers to operate in the I-5 corridor between Washington, Oregon, and California.

Responsibilities

• Drive 7-10 days per month, with 2 home stays (34-hour reset)
• Average 2,100 miles per week

Requirements

• Minimum age of 21 years
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL)
• At least 6 months of Class A driving experience within the last year, or 1 year of Class A driving experience within the last 5 years
• No DUI within the last 5 years, or 10 years if currently holding a CDL
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years
• No more than 1 preventable accident in the past 2 years, no major accident within the past 5 years
• Pass a DOT physical and drug test

Qualifications

Background check required under 49 CFR Part 391. Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act.
