NALCO Water, an Ecolab Company, is seeking a Customer Delivery Specialist to support Fleet Operations by delivering chemicals to customers, plants, and warehouse locations.

Responsibilities
- Tractor-trailer chemical delivery within a 300 to 500-mile radius from the plant location
- Safely operate vehicles, including delivery trucks, tank trucks, and over-the-road trucks
- Maintain driver’s hours of service using Samsara and/or paper logbook reporting
- Schedule runs to meet customer delivery requirements
- Maintain truck and equipment in safe and operable condition through daily and periodic mechanical and safety inspections
- Ensure accurate, up-to-date delivery location maps and comply with DOT regulations for transporting hazardous materials, including homeland security requirements
- Maintain regular communication with sales and supervisors to report field problems and/or safety hazards
- Follow Zero Defect Delivery procedures for all assignments
- Wear appropriate safety gear during delivery operations
- Stay current on safety techniques and improve driving and safety skills
- Recognize and avoid safety hazards in the work environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with HazMat and Tanker endorsements, no transmission restrictions
- 3 years of commercial driving experience compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations from the past 3 years
- 3 years of an acceptable motor vehicle record
- Willingness to travel 3-5 days per week, with weekends and holidays off
- Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating forklifts, drum dollies, trailer hoists, chemical pumps, hoses, meters, printers, and gauges
- Experience handling products in bulk, drums, Porta-Feeds, and mini/micro-feed units
- Ability to back and parallel park bulk tankers, straight trucks, semi-trucks, and trailers into narrow passages near expensive industrial equipment
- Knowledge of equipment compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations for transporting hazardous materials
Pay
Hourly compensation range: $33 - $35 per hour. Many factors are considered when determining compensation, including experience, education, training, and geography.
