CDL A Truck Driver - $27/HR

About the role

We are currently seeking a dedicated Class A driver for a local position in Ostrander, Ohio. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a route type of local and an automatic transmission.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment
• Strap freight; assist in unload with moffett
• Transport in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
• Meet the physical demands of the role

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• 1+ year of recent, verifiable CDL driving experience
• Will train on moffett and Flatbed
• Steel Toed Boots required
• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
• Must meet all DOT/FMCSA requirements
• Strong communication skills
• Positive attitude and dependable work ethic

Pay

$27.00 per hour

Schedule

Monday–Friday, starting at 6:30/7 am

• Freight: Lumber and building materials
• Day cab with 45–48 ft Flatbed
