CDL A Truck Driver - $27/HR

About the role

We are currently seeking a dedicated Class A driver for a local position in the Pataskala, Ohio area. This is a temp-to-hire assignment with a Monday-Friday schedule starting at 6:30/7 am.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment
• Lumber clean up
• Stacked lumber picked up with Moffett (may have to grab some by hand as well)
• Transport in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
• Meet the physical demands of the role

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• 1+ year of recent, verifiable CDL driving experience
• Will train on moffett and flatbed
• Steel Toed Boots
• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
• Must meet all DOT/FMCSA requirements
• Strong communication skills
• Positive attitude and dependable work ethic

Pay & Schedule

• $27.00/hour
• Monday-Friday
• Start time: 6:30/7 am
• Local - OH area
• Day cab with 45-48 ft Flatbed
• Freight: Lumber and building materials
