CDL A Transport Fuel Tanker Driver – Night Shift

About the role

Mansfield Service Partners (MSP) is a trusted name in fuel distribution, delivering over 9.5 million gallons of fuel daily through a robust network of 900 transport truck carrier partners. We're seeking skilled CDL Fuel Truck Drivers to join our fuel department in Converse, TX. As a fuel truck driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of fuels to our valued customers. Driver will be delivering fuel to tanks and fleet fueling equipment locally.

Responsibilities

• Safely transporting fuels using Transport and bobtail (Tankwagon) trucks.
• Driving trucks while observing DOT driving regulations and adhering to safety guidelines.
• Ensuring products are hauled in a safe and appropriate manner.
• Verifying directions with plant personnel to ensure accurate delivery.
• Striving to exceed customer expectations and achieve high levels of satisfaction.
• Building strong relationships with both external and internal customers.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and proper condition of equipment.
• Performing pre- and post-trip inspections on vehicles and equipment.
• Conducting basic vehicle maintenance tasks and reporting defects or damage.
• Demonstrating excellent customer service and communication skills.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL required
• Tanker and Hazmat (X) endorsement required
• Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience required
• Minimum 1 year crude oil or fuel hauling experience
• Must possess effective written and oral communication skills
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving techniques and skills
• Capability to work weekends
• Shift night shifts starting around 4-6pm, with overtime pay! On a night shift you will have the added benefits of extra pay, less traffic, and fewer distractions.
