CDL-A Trainee Truck Driver

About the role

We are actively onboarding recent CDL-A graduates directly out of West Memphis, Crittenden County, and the greater Memphis metro area for our structured Paid Mentor Program. We provide safety-focused training, assigned late-model equipment, and guaranteed weekly pay to turn your new license into a solid solo career. No physical freight handling, no unpaid waiting periods, and no gimmicks.

The Mentorship Program

• 4 to 6 Weeks Paid Training: Drive real OTR routes with a professional mentor assisting you from the passenger seat.
• Guaranteed Weekly Pay: Steady, dependable paycheck every week while you learn—no low-mileage penalties.
• Direct Career Step: Transition smoothly to full solo pay structure immediately upon completing the program.
• $300 Paid Orientation: Transportation and private hotel accommodations are fully covered.

Pay

• Solo Pay: $1,300 to $1,550 average weekly earnings once solo (top performers clear $1,800+).
• Mentorship Pay: Guaranteed weekly pay during training.

Equipment & Freight

• Your Assigned Tractor: 2022 or newer Kenworth or Freightliner equipped with automatic transmission and APU.
• No Slip-Seating: The truck stays with you—no moving your gear in and out between runs.
• 100% No-Touch Freight: Dry van operations, roughly 70% drop-and-hook.
• Miles: 2,200 to 2,800 miles per week average across established lanes East of I-35.

Schedule & Home Time

• 12 Days Out / 2 Days Home: Predictable OTR schedule originating out of the West Memphis hub.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL and DOT Medical Card.
• Recent graduate from an accredited CDL school (120+ hours) OR under 6 months of recent OTR experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Must pass standard background check and pre-employment drug screen.
