CDL-A Trainee Truck Driver

About the role

We are hiring recent CDL-A graduates directly out of Gulfport, Biloxi, Harrison County, and the surrounding MS Coast area for our Paid Mentor Program. This program provides real-world OTR miles, professional guidance, and financial stability to launch a successful solo driving career with 100% no-touch dry van freight, no unpaid waiting weeks, and clear-cut terms from day one.

The Mentorship Program

• 4 to 6 Weeks Paid Training: Gain real OTR experience alongside an experienced mentor.
• Guaranteed Weekly Pay: Dependable paycheck every single week during mentorship—no mileage traps or surprise deductions.
• Seamless Transition: Move directly to full solo rates the moment you complete the program.
• $300 Paid Orientation: Hotel room and transportation are completely provided.

Pay & Benefits

• Solo Pay: $1,300 to $1,550 average weekly earnings after going solo (top earners clear $1,800+).

Equipment & Freight

• Assigned Equipment: Late-model (2022 or newer) Kenworth or Freightliner with automatic transmission and APU.
• No Slip-Seating: Once assigned, the truck is yours—no shuffling gear every week.
• 100% No-Touch Freight: Dry van loads, with roughly 70% drop-and-hook.
• Miles: 2,200 to 2,800 miles per week average across established East of I-35 lanes.

Schedule & Home Time

• 12 Days Out / 2 Days Home: Reliable, scheduled OTR rotations out of the Gulfport area.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL and DOT Medical Card.
• Graduate from an accredited CDL school (120+ hours) OR under 6 months of recent OTR experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Must pass a standard background check and pre-employment drug screen.
