CDL-A Tanker Truck Driver

About the role

Semi-Local CDL-A Truck Driver responsible for transporting liquid tanker freight within designated regions, primarily local and regional routes with some overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Operate straight tanker and sleeper cab trucks.
• Connect hoses, pressurize trailers, and ensure safe delivery of liquids.
• Handle touch freight with assistance.
• Adhere to schedules starting early mornings.
• Maintain safety and compliance with DOT regulations.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsements.
• Minimum 6 months tanker experience, with 1+ years preferred.
• Must pass Ryder drug test, background check, DOT physical, and road test.
• Ability to operate manual transmission preferred.
• Possession of passport or enhanced driver’s license for potential Canada entry.
• Minimum age of 21 years.

Pay

Earns $1,800–$2,000+ weekly, with a $4,000 sign-on bonus.

Schedule

Home daily or regional routes, up to 3 nights out.
