About the Position

Our client is seeking a dependable CDL A Driver for regional food delivery routes based in Valmeyer, Illinois. This long-term flex opportunity offers competitive hourly pay, overtime after 40 hours, and consistent regional work involving heavy-touch freight. The role covers regional routes across Missouri, Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky handling food and grocery freight, requiring loading and unloading of food items. It is an on-site position.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods safely and efficiently over regional routes
• Load and unload food products
• Handle heavy-touch freight throughout the delivery process
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Follow all applicable safety and transportation regulations

Requirements

• Valid CDL A license
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
• At least 6 months of food delivery experience
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

Pay

Schedule

• Overnight stays provided in hotels, not in the truck
