Local, temp-to-hire CDL A delivery position in Syracuse, NY. Automatic transmission tractors; freight is milk and dairy products.
About the Position
We are seeking a CDL A Driver to deliver milk and dairy products to grocery stores, hospitals, nursing homes, schools, and convenience stores across Auburn, Albany, Binghamton, Utica, Watertown, and Syracuse.
Pay
$27.25 per hour plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus paid in three installments. Overtime available after 40 hours.
Schedule
Monday through Saturday with one midweek day off. Start times between 4 AM and 6 AM; average workday is 8–10 hours.
Responsibilities
- Deliver milk and dairy products to designated locations
- Unload products using a hand truck or electric pallet jack
- Maintain a clean and safe driving record
- Adhere to all DOT and FMCSA regulations
Requirements
- 3+ years of recent, verifiable CDL driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
