CDL A OTR Driver - Home More Often
Key Responsibilities
- Safely & efficiently drive gasoline or diesel-powered tractor-trailer/tanker combination to transport and deliver products, for-hire cargo or other materials.
- Drive local and long distance routes (with over-night stays).
- Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick-up of goods to ensure timely service.
- Load, secure and unload cargo. Includes such things as: climbing ladders on tankers, pulling hose, hooking and unhooking hoses from customer tanks, walking across catwalk on the top of trailer.
- Maintain radio and/or telephone contact with dispatcher to receive delivery or pick-up instructions or to receive notice of changes in scheduled delivery or pick-up.
- Collections COD’s from customers when required.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Follow all safety policies, procedures and protocols at all times.
- Assists with site work and special site projects as needed.
- Performing maintenance duties as needed.

What We’re Looking For
- Class A Commercial CDL with tanker endorsement
- Minimum of 2 years related driving experience preferred
- Good driving and DOT record
- Able to stand; sit; lift, squat, stoop and/or move over 50 lbs.
- Excellent Customer Service skills & Attitude
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office & electronic log system)
- Able to obtain forklift certification
